Better to Set Epic Goals and Fail, than to Accomplish Mediocre Goals

Our lives are short — why waste it being normal, average, or mediocre?
Beyond basic
We must go beyond basic. It is easy for anyone to achieve basic, to live a basic life, and to accomplish basic goals.
My thought:
Set ridiculously epic goals of yourself (self-directed by yourself), and use your adamantine self-confidence in yourself to accomplish them!
And when you accomplish these goals — set higher ones.
Never stop climbing higher
Build your own new Mount Everest, and never stop building and climbing higher. Perhaps this is the secret of life?
