  • In Siem Reap, Cambodia, if I want to visit the Tomb Raider temple, do I need to pay money?

    šŸŽ‰ Quick-fire answer

Yes — to stand in Lara Croft’s famous footsteps at Ta Prohm (ā€œthe Tomb Raider templeā€) you’ll need an Angkor Pass, the same ticket that covers Angkor Wat, Bayon, and the entire Angkor Archaeological Park. There’s no separate ticket just for Ta Prohm.

šŸ›’ Where & how to buy

    • Pay in USD, Cambodian riel, or major credit cards.
    • Skip the dawn queue: buy your pass after 16 : 30 the day before; it’s valid for sunset that evening and the next day’s sunrise.

šŸ‘¶ Who gets in free (or almost!)

    • Children under 12 (passport proof required) – free. Ā
    • Cambodian citizens & residents with a long-stay visa (2 yrs+) – apply for an annual special pass. Ā

🌟 Pro-tips for an epic Ta Prohm adventure

    1. Go early – Gates open at 07 : 30, but arriving right at 07 : 00 lets you beat the crowds gathering outside.
    2. Mind the roots – Those legendary strangler-fig and silk-cotton trees create slippery mossy paths; sturdy shoes rule.
    3. Dress temple-ready – Shoulders & knees covered; light fabrics keep you cool.
    4. Carry your pass at all times – Random checkpoints can fine you if it’s not on hand. Ā
    5. Budget extras – Tuk-tuk day hire (~US $15–20), licensed guide (~US $35+), cold coconuts (priceless!).

    šŸš€ Bottom line

Grab that Angkor Pass, flash it with pride, and stride into Ta Prohm like the action hero you are! With temple roots twisting sky-high and jungle vibes turned up to eleven, your Tomb Raider moment is just a ticket away. Have an absolutely legendary time out there! šŸ™ŒšŸ›•šŸŒæ

  • True warriors don’t battle with no one

True warriors don’t battle with no one

The funny irony is that if you think about like the Apex of Warrior, Achilles… He had like zero interest in battle. He was weird from battle, he was tired and sick of it, and just wanted to go back home to his own home, his own food field, and just chill with breisis his prize ļæ¼.

She was only unsuspectingly lured back into battle, with Hector, and truth be told he didn’t even care to care to kill all those Trojans. Rather, she just killed all those Trojans in order to get to Hector, in order to get his sweet sweet revenge. Just as good old homer says, sweeter than honey.

I think the strange thing is in today’s world, to be or become a hero is worshiped. Everyone wants to be like a Captain America or some sort of marvel superhero. This becomes a little bit problematic because now that Disney owns everything, but that that means is, all of these fake notions of being a warrior is commoditized into some sort of Package. And as a consequence, none of it is actually very unique nor powerful.

Also, this also then becomes problematic because everyone wants to become some sort of hero, and in order to stake their claim, what they then need to do is find some sort of cause to fight for. And as a consequence, people get roped into all these weird movements, all these strange battles to fight for, like fighting for the planet, animals, human rights, poverty and inequality etc. but once again, what if the world doesn’t need your help? What if the world is just fine the way it is, or actually… What if in fact, the world is genuinely superior without you meddling in it. ?ļæ¼

Then I suppose then, the next logical step is to just focus on yourself, and just leave other people alone and let them do their weird stuff. As time goes on, I am becoming less opinionated about the degenerate activities of others, just let them be, And also a funny thought to is, a lot of who I consider to be bad and degenerate, there is some sort of hidden wisdom to what they are doing and I just don’t know it?

I suppose this is then a humbling thing because what that that means is that, other people might be more wise than me without me even knowing it?

Then the idea is to respect the wisdom of others, and realize that in fact, you may be the fool?

  • Money, capital philosophy and thinking.

When it is quiet and we do not hear car honking or whatever… We think better.

Then maybe the theory in the strategy is, in order to think more, you actually need less external stimuli from the rest of the world.
