Ricoh GR IV — Copy Everything From Internal Memory to microSD Card
You can copy all your photos and videos directly inside the camera, without a computer.
Step-by-step
- Insert a microSD card with enough free space.
- Press the ▶ Playback button.
- Press and hold the IN/SD button to select Internal Memory as the source.
- Press MENU.
- Navigate to Playback Menu → File Operations (C2) → Image Copy.
- Select Copy All Images.
- Press OK.
- Select Execute, then press OK again.
The camera creates a new folder on the microSD card and copies the files there.
Important details:
- The IN/SD control in step 3 is the Movie/Save Destination Memory Switching button on the side of the GR IV.
- Copying does not erase the originals from internal memory.
- Make sure the microSD card has enough free space. If it doesn’t, the camera displays a warning.
- After copying, switch playback to the microSD card and verify your photos and videos are there before deleting anything.
