Typically speaking, that which binds all people who go to the gym is that they seek to become more “healthy“.

Raising a kid as a sole proprietor self-employed person
Seneca is around two years old, two months old. I am very fortunate that I don’t have a “real job“, and instead, during the day, I could just take him on adventures to the park, to the mall and other places, and I could just do work on my phone.
Creating my own Montessori?
I feel like with son, I’m creating my own pseudo-Montessori.
Technically this is the ideal; for your kids and your child, especially if you are a man, and he is your first son, this is the ideal. Even if I was a billionaire, why would I want to have some other person raise my son?

Everyone has different bodily proportions
Then why is it that there seems to be a bias that everyone must follow the same regimented proper “form“?
For example, the bench press. The problem is that there is generally only one position that the barbell is held on the bench press, and it cannot be adjusted. Even if it could be adjusted, everyone has different bodily proportion, in terms of arm length, leg length, torso length, back flexion, etc.
This is why it also seems silly to be too focused on “squatting at parallel,†— everyone has different bodily and leg proportions. The formation of their knee, their quadricep leg muscle, and also their calves and shin muscle.
Also, deadlift. This is why it seems to be a good innovation that they invented the sumo deadlifts form, which actually I find as superior to conventional form, as it allows superior leverages. Also it might be better for guys who are taller.
And even better innovation is the high handle trap bar, or open hex bar. Why? Once again, a bodily proportion thing. I am able to lift far more with a high handle open hex bar with a traditional barbell just at the floor.
Moral of the story: when it comes to lifting weights, or fitness related things, don’t follow any conventions. Experiment, tinker, Bricolage yourself into a supreme approach.
Another way I have been able to bench press over six plates, while doing it on the floor, slightly elevated. Better leverages, better arch and better ability to drive with my legs.

The male body is more beautiful than the female body?
Back in ancient Greek times, the most prized bodily beauty was in the realm of men. Women are not even mentioned.

Powerlifting is objective and based in physics
The tricky thing is that we cannot really say who has the best “physiqueâ€, yet we can see who is objectively the strongest, based on the number weight of their one rep max pulls or lifts.
-
There is no such thing as the best “objective“ physique
The nuance is that there is some sort of hierarchy. Certainly if you’re 400 pounds and 80% body fat, your physique will be less than somebody who is highly muscular, 6 foot tall, and 170 pounds at only 5% body fat.

Kids are underrated
One of the greatest festal joys of life is having a kid. Why is there a strange bias in today’s world that is anti-kid, pro pets, pro dogs? And pro cats?

WHAT IS IT THAT WE WANT?
Let us say that we have a passion for photography. What is it that we love?
First, I think we like to create, and do some thing visually artistic. Therefore, the first thing to consider is that the camera is an image creator thing. Something that facilitates us to go out into the world world, explore, and make images.
Secondly, it seems that we photographers like to just be out in the world, travel, explore new places, etc. Therefore, some sort of open world concept is good for us.
Can video work?
It seems that the new big avenue is video.

The Current World of Photography
Currently speaking, I am very dismayed by the current world of photography. Nothing is really interesting. Even after perusing all the different cameras out there, they are all boring, not innovative.
What is the big issue here? It seems that all of these camera companies only work by analogy; what is drive to do is to take past designs and just iterate on them, rather than wiping the slate clean, and doing something totally brand new.
For example, why do modern day digital cameras still look like old film cameras?
Or better yet, let us consider car design. There is no really good reason why an electric car needs to look like an old gasoline car, considering there is no longer an engine either in the front or the back. This could allow some very interesting innovations. To design the front of an electric car simply as a “frunk“, seems boring.
