Currently here in the Korean countryside (HADONG) and loving it. Lots of non-city thoughts:
No place is forever
Nor should a place be forever.
A lot of us seek a ‘forever’ ‘perfect’ spot, but even if you find it, you will easily tire and bore.
Instead, think of life like a forever campaign; life is campaign mode // VIDEO.
Countryside, and insanely fast wifi?
I spoke too soon when I said wifi in Korea sucks (Korea Thoughts Vlog // YOUTUBE)
Currently here in the Korean countryside in HADONG, the wifi is INSANELY fast.
Which makes me think — perhaps I should use this opportunity for insanely radical innovation and experimentation?
The upside of non-city living
Something about being requested from society is interesting. The quality of your thoughts and type of your thoughts is different. I believe you start thinking more about challenging traditional notions of ‘success’, and this zen-zone of the non-city is conducive to thinking.
ERIC KIM EXPERIENCES

Beyond just thinking
Philosophy is fun, but also is entrepreneurship.
The reason I like both:
Philosophy is more about creative seclusion, and coming up with epic thoughts, and entrepreneurship is more about being connected with the world and being active (attack mode).
Thus, the simple thought:
Retreat to the mountains to think, but once you have the thoughts you need, descend the mountain (Thus Spake Zarathustra), and share your findings with others.

What types of thoughts do you want to have?
To me, a thought without action is useless. I like the idea:
If you have a thought, just blog it.
Post a single thought, even if the title has no other message but the thought itself.
The never-ending stream
So what is the point of it all?
Think of yourself like the never-ending stream of water!

Some thoughts on PODCAST and YOUTUBE:
- Experiment with video podcasts on ANCHOR.FM
- Youtube– keep it insanely simple as possible (VIDEO // AUDIO)
Just start it.
Just start it, and just start uploading. My simple YouTube philosophy.
720P is sufficient, even 480p if your internet is slow!
Also–
Make it so simple even your mom could use it!
This is my new design philosophy.
