How I judge an art work? By the replayability of it.
For example, when looking at your older art works, ask yourself:
Has this photograph gotten better over time? Or as time has gone on, do I like it less?
In photography I call this the ‘art of marination‘:
To understand how you *really* feel about your photos, let time do her work.
Revisit your old art works frequently and consider whether you like them as much as you did in the past, or less. And never stop editing and selecting your best works. Over time, certain photos will sink to the bottom, and older photos (you might not have initially appreciated) will rise to the top.
Which photos of mine have stuck?
It seems my photos of Cindy, photos which are surreal, photos with interesting compositions have stuck.
