How I choose photos I like:

1. Shapes, movement, lines

2. Photos which surprise me

Experimenting twisting and turning the camera while making photos. The delight in seeing the random and interesting effect!

3. Perspective

From a super high angle, looking down. The joy of shooting 21mm, to play with perspective.

4. Inside/outsides

Photographing myself and my shadow, outlined against the city.

5. Silhouette juxtaposed against shapes and forms

I saw the interesting scene, and kept shooting, trying to make it more interesting. Getting Cindy’s hand in the photo makes it much more powerful.

10. Blurry photos/out of focus photos

Either intentionally or unintentionally blurry or out of focus. I love the feeling of movement.
