Never stop shooting:
1. Playground street photography
Shoot at the park!
2. Elevator
Shoot from inside an elevator looking out:
Or shoot inside the elevator!
Robert Frank: Americans elevator girl
From Robert Frank’s “The Americans“:
3. Blur
Integrate blur into your photos to add more drama, motion, and dynamism!
4. A subtle spot of light
5. Long distance flash street photography
Shoot from a distance, and shoot with a flash — and illuminate the whole scene.
6. Silhouette
Shoot silhouettes, by shooting high-contrast black and white (use ERIC KIM PRESETS). The silhouettes make your photos more mysterious, thus more open-ended and interesting to look at!
7. Don’t show faces
Shoot people’s faces as it is obscured in the shade, or if they’re looking away from the camera, to add more mystery to your photos.
