Something I think I wrote about in the past, but maybe I didn’t, is this notion of “autotelic photographyâ€. The basic idea and general gist is that pure photos are predicated on the fact that you shoot them out of pure joy, and pure self motivation, rather than doing it for any other sort of external affirmation or applause.
