Respect vs “Disrespect”?
To desire some sort of arbitrary “respect“ from other people; seems like a flaccid goal. I would say instead, seek to be feared… That is, you don’t really expect anything from anyone, but, you don’t tolerate disrespect. And also you don’t let people fuck with you. Certainly not bully you around.
