A huge one is massively pragmatic:

The annoyance of having to keep on procuring more and more products which eventually run out– such as hair gel/wax, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.

Alternatives:

Brushing your teeth with just Himalayan pink sea salt? Instead of putting wax/gel into your hair just wear a black baseball cap? Instead of shampoo, just use simple white bar soap in both your body *and* your hair?

I also think that hand bar soap is insanely under-rated. Use that instead of those wasteful ‘Soft Soap’ pumping dispensers?

For cleaning surfaces just use really hot water?

IT’S A TRAP!

Local is the future.

Considering that China (mainland China) is mostly run by oligarchs, rich businessmen etc… what I *think* China seeks is more economic power. China doesn’t seek a greater military power… she simply wants more economic influence, power, and reach.

For example, China’s investments in emerging areas such as the outskirts of Eastern Europe, Africa, Cambodia, parts of Southeast Asia. Maybe even South Asia (India)?

Once again, the reason I am very skeptical of any notions of a ‘World War 3’ is because it is bad for international business. Just look at the VW/Lamborghini group — super sad she can no longer sell to rich Russian oligarchs.

No matter how great it is, sooner or later you will hit the 2TB [family] limit… then, your iPad is a dud.

MacBook Pro is less sexy… but, far greater longevity! My MacBook Pro is still technically 6 years old (bough it maxed out, refurbished 6 years ago)– and it still works! Battery is pretty much dead (only can run while plugged in), but still … it works!
