It seems the way that modern-day capitalism works is by making us lack self-esteem. The basic promise is this, “if you buy this, you will be happy! And self-confident!”
But in fact, what truly makes us self-confident? I think going to the gym at least once a day, weight lifting, walking around topless in the sun etc.
