There is a big difference between salary, and net worth.
For example, you could be earning $750,000 a year in Silicon Valley in the Bay Area, or in San Francisco, however, if your rent is $15,000 a month, you own 2.2 cars, send your two kids to private school, have outstanding loans, etc., your net worth actually might not be that high.
