The Cult of Jesus: Cult Followers of Jesus, The Philosophy of Jesus, Moral, Ethical, Jefferson Bible

Technically if you think about it, if you’re a Christian, Catholic, protestant, etc., technically we are cult followers of Jesus.

Read the Jefferson Bible — literally by Thomas Jefferson — yes, the US president. He called it “The philosophy of Jesus of nazareth”. This is super interesting to me, because, how come no one has ever talked about Jesus as a philosopher, or even talking about the philosophy of Jesus?

Essentially what the Jefferson Bible is Thomas Jefferson seeing the ethics and morals of Jesus being so perfect and sublime, he compiled what he believed to be the non-hocus-pocus teachings, and putting them together. I think it is very interesting, because any scholar, non-religious person, etc., can read it well.

The Didache

Didache (did-a-key), Διδαχή, or The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles— essentially a compilation of the early disciples, and followers. This is super interesting to read because it shows the early trappings of the Christian, catholic church, and the doctrines.
