BOSTON

What makes Boston interesting — curved irregular roads, city not a perfect grid system. Diverse, people from all over. Weather sucks but with a good down jacket, military Goretex jacket, goretex boots you’re fine.

Also super old. Older than NYC I believe.

Little Italy in Boston super cool — phenomenal “characters”— waaaay more fun and interesting than New York or LA or London.

Boston as an underrated city in America.

WHY BECOME MORE ELITE?

Become more poor, but more elite?

Spartans at the pinnacle of elite, 300, but the most ascetic and “poor”?

MODERNITY IS ALL ABOUT SITTING?

If I stand, I make people feel uncomfortable?

Also, modern day man cannot stand for long periods of time?

Media That Motivates You to Move, Media Which Doesn’t?

Watching action films as motivating, as the movement of the actors motivates you to move.

Bullet Train as a good watch — it did motivate me to walk around more while in the AMTRAK train.

Also, the John Wick movies are very motivational insofar much as they motivate you to move!

Why I Photograph

I photograph as a way to interact and engage with the world. Photography as a visual form of communication for me.

One is physical. Two is entrepreneurial.

DO YOU LOVE IT OR NOT?

Just don’t do anything you don’t love. Or go anywhere you don’t love.

Just Treat Yourself Like Some Sort of Foreign Dignitary.

Afford yourself all of the luxuries and conveniences, especially when on the road.

And also you can just treat everything like a business expense, or assume you have a “free” 100 USD per diem.

BE MORE SPONTANEOUS.

Spontaneity is a virtue.

Why is it in modern day society spontaneity is seen as bad? Because society hates the spontaneous — it prefers order, regularity, predictability.

“ADHD” IS MY SUPERPOWER.

To be more “ADHD” (fake “disorder”) is my super power and possibly a critical ingredient towards innovation?

The Upside of Traveling

The chance to shake things up, and really learn … what is truly critical and non critical for you? Experimenting with different modes of living.

Thus the ideal:

Never living in any one spot forever.

MY IDEAL

Just live in a hotel with a kitchenette and stove?

The upside of minimalist living, having someone clean up for and after you, always new bed sheets and towels, and ability to cook (extra) meat for yourself at home if need be!

Also the upside of living very close to a fun, dynamic downtown area. Liked this lifestyle in Phnom Penh Cambodia, Hanoi, and Saigon.

How to Make More Artistic Photos

Focus on shapes, dynamism, form.

Also think unorthodox compositions.

Also, cut out random elements. Add more mystery and a “curiosity gap” to things:

Life Directives

What are your personal directives in life?

For me, training and advancing Seneca, turbocharging Cindy, building my physical strength and courage, and streaming my thoughts and art works.

Why predict the future?

Isn’t it better to simply pave today to be your ideal type of life?

For example, some sort of physical challenge — hypelifting and powerlifting at the gym. Also, maximal time outdoors in the direct sun.

Also, some sort of entrepreneurial venture?
