Lift Like a Powerlifter, Look Like a Bodybuilder

Demigod physique

My overall critique with most people at the gym:

  1. At my gym, it seems that the gym is pretty much split down the middle: on the left side you have the powerlifters, and on the right side you have the bodybuilders. The powerlifters only really focus on the deadlift and squat, and some bench press, whereas the bodybuilders only seem to like to do seated exercises with dumbbells.
  2. The power lifters also seem to fall into two categories; really really fat, but really really strong, or, really really skinny, not that much muscle mass, yet insanely strong. For the bodybuilders, most of them have impressive upper bodies, you have chicken legs. Also it looks like a lot of these bodybuilders tend to be quite short.

So what is the solution?

I believe the solution is very simple: hundred percent carnivore diet, no starches, no carbs, no sugar, no sweeteners, no protein powder, no creatine, no pre-workout powder, no fake sweeteners, no Coke zero, no Stevia, no energy drinks etc. Especially don’t trust these new “zero calorie, zero sugar“ energy drinks. They all make you fat.

Aim to eat at least 3 to 4 pounds of beef/meat a night. Also intermittent fasting throughout the day, no breakfast no lunch, and before going to the gym, don’t eat anything. Lift while fasting.
