Things to do while on the road

Walk around, explore, make photos, and also get day or week passes at the local gym, and lift heavy weights.

Also, find the closest local all you can eat Korean barbecue or all you can eat shabu shabu place, and go HAM (hard as a motherfucker).

Also while on the road, blog, vlog and write and share and publish your thoughts and experiences.

College is not good for the ambitious

Just walking around Penn State, Penn State campus, and the downtown area; even though it is well developed, and there are some cute stores, for the most part,  you feel trapped. Much more interesting to be a world globe trotter, photographer Vlogger, or media producer.

Good places to explore to include Vietnam (Saigon, Hanoi), Cambodia (Phnom Penh).

For example, I found college to be a very formative experience, especially being a first generation Korean-American going to college in the states. I think my UCLA undergraduate was a great experience, but ultimately, around my junior and senior year, I was itching to get out, and explore the world.

CONQUER THE WORLD VIA PHOTOGRAPHY?

In today’s world, military stuff aside, there is no real way to “conquer“ the world. However, my thought is that we can metaphorically conquer the world through photography. Every time you photograph a certain place or environment, you capture it, and in some ways, conquer it.

For successful billionaires who don’t know what to do with her life anymore, simply traveling the world and making photos is a good conquest.

Ideally the city. Street photography and beyond.

Website Design Philosophy?

Simple thoughts:

  1. Hyperlinks should be colored not black and simply underlined.
  2. Websites are forever in flux. Just keep them alive!
  3. I have a passion for building, designing, changing up, and theorizing and philosophizing on websites, blogs, and design.

Become less self-conscious

We erroneously believe that the more conscious we become, the more perfect we become. But, I believe the opposite to be true; perhaps some more unconscious we become, the better.

THE CULT OF THE WEAK, SICK, AND MISERABLE

The cult of suffering?

Tom Holland — Nassim Taleb “On Christianity”— the ancient Romans and Greeks despised the lowly, weak, cowardly, miserable and sick. Only since Christianity, and perhaps modern day secularism that still … to be sad, miserable, cowardly, and passive aggressive is a virtue.
