How to Shoot Better Bodybuilding Flexing Photos of Yourself

My prediction is that muscle, fitness, aesthetics in regards to the human body is the future.

Funny enough, recently, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my physique, and how “lean“ I am.

First and foremost, get a Ricoh GR 3X digital camera. Because it has no anti-aliasing filter, it is so insanely sharp, and capture so much detail, it is insane.

Secondly, lighting. Ideally you want high contrast. To be able to see all the depth and definition in your muscles.

Third, do a combination of both still photos as well as videos. I think having both is a good way to double dip into getting the best videos and photos of yourself. Don’t use an iPhone or an iPhone Pro.

The fourth idea is use a GoPro mini, and shoot 1080 P, 24 FPS. Ultra Wide mode. Why? I think it is a good thing to actually exaggerate, accentuate, and distort how buff you really are.

Fifth, experiment with different lighting set ups. Use natural light, or artificial light, soft and diffuse light, or harsh and direct light. Experiment is all. Also, just flex outside in the direct sun.
