How to Strengthen Your Grip

One of my theories is that grip strength is strength. If you’re not strong enough to lift something, because your grip gives out, maybe you’re just not strong enough yet.

If you are doing rack pulls or deadlift, instead of using hand strips or wrist wraps, just use chalk, and a mixed grip.

Also, if you have the option, either use a trap bar or an open hex bar for deadlift. Why? The neutral grip is better for your grip, and also, gives you better leverage.

Yes, it is true that you can lift more using wrist straps

I do believe it is a fact that you could in fact lift more weights and heavier weights using wrist straps. However, assuming that grip strength is strength, using wrist wraps will prevent you from building your grip strength.
