The ‘city’ vs ‘countryside’ as a not good comparison or barbell. Instead, a ‘city’ vs ‘non-city’.
For example I am currently in the Korean countryside, and I am surrounded by 3 sides of Korean national forest. It feels like I am in a Yosemite valley, on top of a height, looking down, into the valley. It does not feel like the ‘countryside’, which is typically my image of farmland.
