One of my British acquaintances told me something interesting, that we are Americans love to use acronyms for everything, assuming as if everyone knows what they are. However, that is not the case. Perhaps for greater clarity, best for us to not use acronyms, or if you do decide to use acronyms, Also in line text spell it out in full as well.
