LEARN FROM KIDS

Learn from kids, children, your kids. Watching my son Seneca grow has been fascinating because it offers me some theories on human cognition and how we develop:

‘PONER’

The first fascinating thing — seeing how Seneca like to place things on top of one another. He has quickly learned to pick up rocks, and place them on top of different things. A new fun trick of his — he likes to take a rock and place it on top of my foot or shoe.

The joy of newness, randomness and exploration

Seneca prefers the new, he prefers to explore, etc. He disdains feeling restricted– he wants to explore with no boundaries.
