If we understand photos as content, we must consider what we want our photos to contain.

What do you want to contain in the frame? What do you want to include and exclude from the frame?

Actually more important to figure out what to exclude from your photograph, then what you include in your photograph.

Photography as a means of subtraction, not addition.

Also when you’re composing your photos, think about what distractions to remove from your photo, rather than figuring out what to highlight.
