The original internet (before Facebook and YouTube)— democratic and open. Now? The algorithm is the gatekeeper. Yet there is still hope in open source websites (bluehost.com and WordPress.org). If you cannot afford $10 a month for website hosting, you can just use WordPress.com

Everything is now affordable, at least for the average American

The great thing in today’s world is at this point, practically everything is affordable. You could get a great iPhone SE for only $399 without contract. Even what I consider the best digital camera, even better than digital Leica cameras is the Ricoh GR 3, which is only $800. 800 bucks is still a lot, but even any college student with a part-time job can afford it.

If you desire to become an Internet entrepreneur, technically all you need is a laptop. You don’t even need a phone or an iPad. I would say the ultimate minimum viable equipment for the aspiring the street photography entrepreneur is a MacBook Air laptop, and Ricoh GR3 digital camera.
