What’s the Purpose of a Home?
I’ve had the privilege of living in many different types of living situations, homes, lifestyles (digital nomad, location independent, etc).
The question is —
What’s the purpose of a house or a home, and what do we want from it?
Not to freeze your ass off
I can confidently say that when my house or apartment or domicile is cold, I’m quite miserable. So to have a home which ain’t freezing is good. For my physiological well-being, a warm home is essential for me.
Light
A dark home is a miserable home. Thus to have a home with great natural light is ideal. If not much natural light, then buying a ton of LED strip lights to lighten up the lumens in your home!
