Human photography essay

Dynamic Symmetry

Away from notions of “equality”. Better to think about dynamic symmetry — a more flexible, robust and dynamic form of ethics and social behavior.

The idea

The basic notion is this:

We are all different, thus we shouldn’t all be treated “the same”.

For example, I wouldn’t force my vegan friend to eat meat. But also, my vegan friend shouldn’t force me to NOT eat meat either. We must live in a maximally tolerant society.
