I feel this is an inconvenient truth that nobody really likes to think or believe:

The fact is this — 90% of your success as an entrepreneur, photographer, etc is based on your marketing prowess, and 10% is based on your “skill” (how good you are as an artist and photographer).

The world ain’t fair.

Skill can only take you so far. Without effective self-marketing, you cannot make it.
