Has there really been any joyful photographers in the past?

My suspicion:

All photographers in the past are generally too serious; they strive too hard to be taken as ‘serious’ artists, and thus lose their child-like naïveté towards photography. Just how fun, interesting, and joyful it is!

What are you aiming for?

My aim:

Make photos which I consider beautiful and spirited. Photos which lift me up!
