Your own photos are the most important photos:
First, select a photo of yours that you like that you want to analyze:
Then:
- Invert the photo
- Add contrast
- Analyze the shapes, forms, directions.
- Draw your compositions and get a sense of the visual gist and dynamism behind it.
As simple as possible
Only analyze your compositions which you actually like!
For me, I’m curious:
A test of my sincerity of how much I like a certain photo I’ve shot is dependent on how much effort I’m willing to analyze it.
