In Diablo II, you start off at level 0 with no weapons or gear — just your fists. Do you stay in Tristam forever and just hang out with Deckard Cain? No! You adventure, you fight, you kill monsters, collect gold, loot, stuff, and strive to explore more and level-up!

What is the end-game?

The Art of Manly Virtue

Certainly the end-game is to level-up to the maximum. To continue to fight, explore, and danger and brave yourself. You want to get all the rare items, and become stronger. There is no end goal–

You want to become the strongest player in the game, and you will also fight hard to stay on top.

Is life a ladder?

Certainly not. There is planet earth (our boundary).
