What I’m thinking

  1. Thinking of putting the skin of at least 300 years between myself and my contraries (Nietzsche). Very much enjoying the lofty thoughts of Lucretius in ‘On the nature of things‘.
  2. Thinking about ‘Oldboy’ film. The “anti-hero” (Oh-Dae-Su) who is trapped in a mysterious cage/apartment for a decade. Thinking — if Oh Dae Su can survive this isolation, can’t I?
  3. Thinking about simple language. The great lurid language in ‘Iliad‘ by Homer.
  4. The future is digital. Digital pedagogy (teaching), digital media-news-arts creation, and digital living.
  5. The future privilege is having the ability to just walk freely, enjoy nature, etc.

We are currently living in a brave new world. Know you’re braver than you think you are.
