The Purpose of Life is to Create!

What’s the purpose of life and our human metabolism? Not to consume, but to create!

Why create?

When we create, we change embodied reality. The joy of a child: to create!

What is the worst life? A life where we are impotent and cannot create.

What prevents us from creating?

down

Many reasons. Some of them:

  1. Exhaustion: Too much exhaustion from employment which saps away our creative powers. Also lack of sleep, and lack of strong nutrition. Antidote: sleep more (8-12 hours a night) and eat more nutritious and fatty meat (preferably red meat).
  2. Creative nihilism: The thought that everything has already been created. The thought: “What’s the point of creating if I cannot do it as good as those who have come before me?”
  3. Distraction: Too much (good) entertainment distracts us from creating. We start to think the purpose of life is to be maximally entertained, maximally pleasured, and minimally pained. When we are consuming media we cannot create our own media.
  4. Interruption: To create requires solid blocks of uninterrupted time. Interruptions from our phone and other people detract us from creating.
  5. Weak muscles: Too much fat and weak muscles prevents us from being creatively prolific. To create more, become more physically strong. More powerlifting, higher “one rep max” PR attempts.

To create is the goal

Most people don’t have a goal or direction in life. If we posit that creation and creativity is our supreme life task and goal, everything else will follow!
