Why do we love free? Free as in price, or free in terms of freedom? Or both?

Personal freedom

We want freedom over our lives. My thought is that personal freedom is the greatest human good known to man. We think we want money, but what we really want is freedom.

Why do we like free in terms of price?

Perhaps from our instinct of plunder or stealing? “Free” things is like stealing with a good conscience.

Treat others how you’d like to be treated

If you like free stuff, offer free stuff to others. Not everything you create and share has to be free, but perhaps make free whatever you want to see spread and propagate as widely as possible.
