In this workshop we will focus on composition lessons from the masters of street photography: Henri Cartier-Bresson, Josef Koudelka, W. Eugene Smith, and more.

Compositional tools

Furthermore, you will learn how to apply to your own street photography:

1. The “golden section” (also known as the ‘golden rectangle’, ‘golden triangle’
2. The “arabesque” (snaked and curved composition)
3. The fibonacci spiral and “fractals”

All of these will be tools you can both directly apply to your street photography shooting and in selecting and choosing your best work.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is focused on both the fundamentals of street photography composition to the advanced.

If you’re a beginner street photographer, this workshop is probably not for you. I would encourage you to instead attend my ‘Conquer Your Fears in Street Photography’ workshop. But if you’re willing to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and fast-track your progress in street photography, feel free to attend the workshop.
