Action is the Best Pleasure

There is no greater joy than acting; to act, to do, to engage in action!

To be honest I think the average American would prefer to be passively entertainer all day. I don’t really know how much people like to act, or engage in action (besides passive things like buying stuff).

To act takes more skill than reacting. To act is to force your willpower into some embodied action, whereas reaction is to let others dictate to you what to do.

For example waking up in the morning and writing first thing in the morning is active. To wake up in the morning, check your email, then respond to your email is reactive.

To live the best life:

Maximize action.

Action as the act of creating

To act: to create photos, create engaging conversation, to create foods, to harvest and extract things, to build new things (technological or physical), to write, to blog, to make videos, to edit, etc.

Act more, react less.
