I wrote all these essays while in Havana for a week without wifi. A week without having any internet access is good for the brain. I treated it like a ‘thinking retreat‘.

I wrote many of these essays in IA WRITER on my MacBook, then formatted them in iBooks Author, and created this PDF e-book.
