What Photos Last?
Art x humanist photos.
This is why I consider Henri Cartier-Bresson and Josef Koudelka so successful — they both blended artistic photos that centered on humanity.
Artistic in terms of composition
Great Koudelka photos which combine humanism and great artistic compositions:
Henri is still king.
Koudelka is great, but I think Henri Cartier-Bresson is #1. Why?
- His epic surrealism in his photos
- His undying attention to form and content
- His epic arabesque compositions
- His breadth: portraits, street photography, journalism, landscape.
Henri has set the bar.
