iPhone Pro Camera Review for Photography

iPhone Pro as the most interesting camera right now:

What is great about iPhone Pro for photography

  1. With new iOS Beta, textures greatly improved.
  2. Democratic photography: Everyone can afford iPhone Pro
  3. Performance is good and snappy
  4. Image quality and aesthetics are solid. We are at the point that the iPhone Pro can truly be your only camera.
  5. All three camera cameras have good performance. Shooting ultra wide is quite fun— lots of great opportunities for creative photos.

UI/UX a bit confusing but that’s okay for the most part

New iPhone Pro camera settings (beta iOS)

The UI/UX of the iPhone Pro is a bit cluttered and confusing, but I’m sure the designers will continue to simplify it for future releases. The hardware is good for the iPhone Pro — I’m excited to see what software and computational photography optimizations they will make.

iPhone Pro ultra wide

It’s worth it.

I think iPhone Pro is definitely worth the $1k. The value is actually quite amazing for what you get.

RICOH still better

Ultimately I still prefer RICOH GR III for photography. Image quality on RICOH GR III still reigns supreme, and it’s more functional as a camera (having RICOH GR III on neck as more ergonomic and effective than always taking the iPhone out of my pocket).

But the iPhone Pro— still good to capture any decisive moments anywhere you go. Ultimate stealth street photography camera:

iPhone Pro ultra wide.

Democratic photography

Just buy iPhone Pro outright (64gb, space grey), unlocked. Or if you’re tight on money, do monthly payments.

iPhone Pro is a Winrar

Home run Apple good job. Just keep simplifying the UI/UX, and the iPhone Pro is money!
