Hyper-Human

How to become a hyper-human?

We want hyper-cars. Why not become a hyper-human?

What is a hyper-human?

Hyper comes from ‘huper’ (over/over) // ‘uper‘ (sounds like ‘uber’).

The closest notion I have of ‘hyper human’ comes from Nietzsche– his notion of the ‘uber-mensch’ (the “above-man” or the ‘superman’).

This is my ideal:

Within our lifetime, how can we hack our lifestyle, food, environment, activities, and gain the maximal muscular/artistic power?

Ideas so far

  1. Intermittent fasting: No breakfast or lunch. Aids with focus, concentration, and strengthening of body. Breaking fast with dinner (or early-dinner) with tons of meat, protein, and other strengthening foods.
  2. Powerlifting: Lifting really heavy weights. ‘1 rep max’ style training. Thinking of powerlifting as mental training (more than physical training). Powerlifting a 99% mental.
  3. Beyond pettiness: To put the skin of 300 years between yourself and your contemporaries [Nietzsche]. To think BEYOND the basic stuff that other ‘basic’ humans desire. To create new desires and ideals for yourself, more noble, more difficult, and more interesting.
  4. More poor, but more powerful/influential/free? To think BEYOND money. Money as an antiquated concept. If we live in a spaceship or on Mars, the notion of ‘money’ will be far different. New ideals beyond money. Not to do anything for money. Just the need to have the bare amount of money to feed ourselves ($2 a day), and pay our rent.
  5. Less fat, more power: Hypercars lower weight and superfluous fat/form [carbon fiber], and add power [horsepower, speed]. Perhaps the ideal for us is to also cut our body fat to the absolute minimum, but continue to endlessly strengthen our muscles, intensity, and focus.

Think about your death, then work backwards

Think about your legacy after you die. How do you desire to be remembered? What value do you desire to give to future human beings? What ideals, morals, ethics, and philosophies do you want to empower future humans with?
