Perhaps it is our evolutionary advantage that we delight in visual change. Visual change in landscapes, our environment, our fashion, our cars, our objects, and the visual art works we consume and create!
This is the tricky thing:
To always buy new fashion, new clothes, new cars, new devices, and to always experience new sights is expensive and produces a lot of clutter and extra stuff.
But if it is in our human DNA to delight and thrive in visual change, what should we do?
