The only photos worth shooting are the ones which directly show your soul. Photos that have your soul embedded into them!
I’ve been thinking about “soul photography” a lot; the ultimate apex of photography as a form of artistic self-expression and apotheosis.
Essentially the basic idea is simple:
Strive to make photos which are a direct copy of your soul.
This means, create images that have your soul in them!
- Shoot with your soul
- Only photograph what your soul cares about
- Reveal your own soul to the viewer through your images, and how you see, perceive, and experience the world.
- Show your internal reality via the external images you create!
