Thinkstyle

Nowadays we talk much about “lifestyle”— why not something deeper and more substantial such as “thinkstyle”?

Think different

We believe in the upsides of “neuro-diversity”. There isn’t a “proper” way to think, nor a “superior” mode of thinking.

We all think different, and this is how we can benefit the word and humanity. We give our own personal take on things. Our ideas aren’t “better” or “worse” than others— they are simply unique to us.

Are all ideas and modes of thinking valuable?

I believe so.

Ultimately with thinking, it all comes down to bravery and courage of thought. How much are you willing to risk and sacrifice for your thoughts?

Thank god we don’t live in a society where we can be burned at the stake for our individual beliefs and thoughts. Today is the best time to be a free spirit and thinker.

Yet— how few of us have the faculty of owning our own thinkstyle? Do you have a unique mode of thinking, but are you afraid to express it outloud and openly? Or do you not have any unique modes of thinking?

Society is a machine to create generic thinkers

My thought:

Society strives to turn everyone into generic and boring thinkers.

Consider — much of modern capitalistic economy is about creating good worker bees— it ain’t about making divergent thinkers.

Modern thinking warrior

I think there is something in our DNA that strives to be a warrior and a fighter. However if you’re not a modern day soldier, boxer, or UFC fighter — you’re not given the opportunity to express your inner (physical) warrior.

However what we all can do is to be intellectual warriors. For us to express what we truly believe in takes a shitload of courage and guts.

Like my best friend Nassim Taleb says—

True honor and belief is all about the “skin in the game” you got.

So ask yourself:

How bad do you truly believe in what you do, and what are you willing to risk to be great? Do you have intellectual grandeur and honor?

Stand up for your own thinkstyle, and never budge.
