Basic tips:
1. Color
Shoot interesting colors you see with people. Use flash for more saturated colors.
2. Construction
Street photography of construction workers always interesting; lots of visual interest in the tools they use and lots of dynamic energy!
3. Shoot at the mall
Mall street photography; experience another social world.
4. Document economic growth and development
Shoot advertisements, people, new building projects, and other things you witness in flux.
5. Shoot around bodies of water
Lakes, rivers, streams, beach, etc. People like to congregate to the water. Go there and shoot!
6. Juxtapose (contrast) subjects against background/advertisements
