  • Physics Experiments

I think Seneca‘s favorite thing in the world to do is finding rocks and throwing them into bodies of water. Why is he so into this? Maybe physics experiment; he loves the arch of throwing the rock, and seeing the splash afterwards.

Maybe we adults should adopt the same approach; the things that we do are simply physics experiments?

  • Photographer as Conqueror?

Landscape and nature photographers, what do they want? The feeling of dominating the environment.

What does the street photographer want? The feeling of dominating the urban landscape, the city, and the strange people inside it.

  • Conquer Terrain

    Conquer the environment.

  • Man and his environment

  • THE LUST FOR BATTLE

  • KNOW MY NAME

  • I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW WHO I AM?

  • Disrupt Everything.

  • Some Facts

Some facts; first of all, you’re alive, and one day you will die. And therefore the question is, in this life, what do you desire to do, accomplish, create, leave behind?

  • Living a More “Interesting” Life?

    Why? Towards what ends?

  • WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM THE WORLD?

    1. A good gym.
    2. A place to procure meat (Costco Business Center)
    3. Some downtown area to walk around.
  • THE WORLD IS AN INSANELY HUGE PLACE.

Even if you spent the rest of your life traveling, no way in hell could you see everything:

The upside of attempting to conquer the world. No limits to your ambition!

  • How I Hype Myself Up

    How I Hype Myself Up

I wonder … if in real life, we focused on hyping ourselves up very much like when we are attempting one rep max attempts, perhaps this could benefit us?

How does 8 plates and a 35 feel on your shoulders and back? Actually not that heavy.

    835 pounds

835 pounds on the rack, seems foolish by most people. But perhaps it is my audacity and my foolishness which has allowed me to reach unprecedented heights?

  • Unorthodox Solutions

  • THE BEST WAY TO STIMULATE YOUR APPETITE

Go insanely heavy on legs. Atlas Lift, 8 plates and a 35– 9 plates coming soon.

  • WHY ARE ALL THE “SOLUTIONS” SO DISSATISFACTORY?

  • Creative Disconnection

To become more creative, become more disconnected with social media, modern trends, foreign sites.

  • How to Become More Disruptive

    How to Become More Disruptive

    1. Speak really loudly. Yell, shout, hype and amp yourself up!
    2. Do things differently in an unorthodox way.
    3. Pride yourself on being different and doing things differently. Desire different things as well.
    4. Seek to disrupt traditional industries with massive markets. Fitness, diet, health, clothing and fashion, homes, living modes, cars are good ones. Also disrupt the art market (Banksky)
    5. Think the internet. The ultimate way to become infinitely scalable. Anti physicality and physical spaces for disruption.
    6. Think free or insanely low cost. For example how nominally cheap a web site and website host is compared to rent, a mortgage, a house, paying for a physical space etc.
    7. Become more aloof, more disconnected. Creative disconnection is good.
  • The Philosophy of Disruption

Typically speaking, disruption is seen as a vice. For example in the classroom, children who are “disruptive“ get punished.

However for myself — I’ve discovered that any time I did something in a “disruptive” manner, I innovated and succeeded much.

For example, my open source photography approach. Or even more recently, my disruptive approach to fitness (hypelifting, powerlifting 2.0).

  • FITNESS DISRUPTION.

  • BOSTON

What makes Boston interesting — curved irregular roads, city not a perfect grid system. Diverse, people from all over. Weather sucks but with a good down jacket, military Goretex jacket, goretex boots you’re fine.

Also super old. Older than NYC I believe.

Little Italy in Boston super cool — phenomenal “characters”— waaaay more fun and interesting than New York or LA or London.

Boston as an underrated city in America.

  • Don’t Do That Which is Popular

In other words, don’t do computer science.

  • WHY BECOME MORE ELITE?

Become more poor, but more elite?

  • Don’t go with what economically makes the most “cents” (sense)

Advice for high school students going to college.

Sociology might have seemed to be the most “useless” major, but has in the long run benefitted me the most.

  • What Would My Ideal Society Look Like?

  • LUXURY IS NOT THE FUTURE.

Spartan aesthetics are. Note how minimal and sparse the interiors of the Teslas are.
