Our ideal in street photography. Shoot before you’re ready, no concern for composition. More concerned with just shooting it, and capturing your initial impression of something you find interesting.

Siem Reap, Cambodia as a new design cultural hotspot?
Treeline Urban Resort — the most epic hotel I’ve been to in my life!
When you get a very very strong massage, the masseuse breaks down, and gives a “soft reset“ to your muscles. Strong massage is a form of hormesis, getting stronger.
The question is just how badly you want it
Every day carte blanche
I hate iPhone, love iPad. Why is iPhone so mediocre?
Street photography as artistic photos of strangers.
Epic car, with great gas mileage.
Hybrid of both:

Why I don’t like buying things, or being stuck with things. My taste always changes and evolves!
For example my taste for cars or car colors.
Just one cup of really really really strong coffee once a day in the morning?
Certainty is boring.
By doing market research, you’re more likely to just iterate rather than to carte blanche innovation!
Air conditioning weakens you. Don’t use it if you have the option.
For me, I love AC when I sleep at night in Southeast Asia. Or while napping. Otherwise opt to be outside or without air conditioning!
Even when I deadlifted 5 plates here in Phnom Penh, I did it in an indoor/outdoor gym with no air conditioning, just free flowing (hot and humid) air… but for some reason, it gave me more strength!
Most bodybuilders are not that strong; they have great endurance, when it comes to pulling levers, and churning out hateful repetitions, yet typically their one rep max strength for deadlift or squat is poor. Yet any of them have very impressive bench press numbers.
Powerlifters are too sloppy with their nutrition, they don’t seem to really care for their physique. Plainly put, most powerlifters look fat, even though they may be insanely strong.
The idea is to become a hybrid of both powerliflifter and bodybuilder; insanely strong one rep max lifts, and demigod physique.
Also, it seems that both powerlifters and bodybuilders are more driven by fear of maximizing their gains, instead of being driven by personal motivation. Also, both parties are far too obsessed with strange stimulants, protein powders, and supplements.
I also believe that all famous and competitive powerlifters and bodybuilders are all high on growth hormones and steroids, whether “natural“ or not
, or whether “legal†or not.
Or another words, do not trust any bodybuilder, or powerlifter, who is on social media, YouTube, is sponsored, mix, living from it, or makes a partial living from it.
The same reason why you should never trust the physique of any Hollywood actor or superhero; it is in their personal self interest to maximize their size and muscularity, which means the most intelligent motive is to use steroids, or other “natural†steroids, testosterone, or human health hormones to maximize their gains.
Apparenlty this is also rampart in the CrossFit community, the calisthenics natural bodyweight exercise community, and even the yoga community.
Assuming that every single time you attempt a one rep max, technically, it should weaken you in the short term. One theory is that when we lift very, very heavy weights, you tear your muscles. Then it is during the period of recovery, perhaps, for about a week, or two, when your muscles rebuild, your body overcompensates, and you become stronger.
My technology ideal.
Even the uber-rich don’t live well in America
No aristocrats in America, only worker servants.
Asia— you can become a new aristocrat, or an aristocratic mode of living.
For example, better to get the Tesla with the longest range, instead of the plaid. Also, with gas for hybrid cars, better to have the car with the highest range on one tank and charge, instead of the fastest car.
Instead a lot of sugar (either “realâ€/natural or fake), a lot of simple (or “complexâ€) starches and carbohydrates. Also, a little meat — more condiments, and “healthy†snacks.
The best driver is a hybrid driver. Human with assistance with computer vision, and auto pilot. Both is better than just one or the other.
I would not trust my life or the life of my son and wife to 100% auto pilot. The ideal is me being 100% focused driver, and also having some assistance and additional abilities from an onboard car computer.
What we are seeking in life is not more comfort or happiness, but greater challenges.
The Hilarious irony, is that in America, we all want to be the driver, and be at the head of the cockpit. However, abroad, if you’re actually really rich, you don’t drive yourself.
Therefore, the American desire to drive, and drive yourself, is a backwards one. A servant mentality.
For example, we are currently taking a van shuttle, a private one, a six seater to Angkor Wat from Phnom Penh. My joy of having a private driver is that he can drive and take us there safely, and I can blog on the way.
After great sleep, good coffee in the morning, and feeling of strength in your arms, legs and body. Feeling your arms, biceps as fuller, bigger, stronger, more capable, more supple, and more ready (for anything). Same in your legs and thighs (turbo thunder thighs).
The feeling of zen, calm focus.
Having done an epic one rep max lift a few days prior, great sleep and recovery, and great food and meat consumption.
After a one rep max, being temporarily weakened for a few days, but a few days after that … becoming stronger (hyper over compensation).
I strive to become the most interesting photographer alive!
As few apps as humanly possible!
Some deprivation is good for us!

Achieving my dream of dead, lifting five plates; I did it in the most adoptable of conditions, jetlagged, while in Phnom Penh Cambodia. Also with foreign equipment in a foreign gym. And I used liquid chalk instead of normal chalk. Yet I was still able to do it.
Therefore, my interventional thought:
Perhaps, when we are always striving towards the optimal conditions, we achieve less.

That, instead of striving for the optimal conditions, just follow your gut. If you’re feeling gutsy enough to attempt it, just give it your all.
Heuristics and general rules of thumb in life are cognitively useful, but they also hold us back. For example, instead of attempting a one rep max just once a week, maybe you could try it in less than that. For example, maybe you only need six days to recover, or five days to recover, or four days or three days or even two days. Or even one day. You never know.
Optimal is never!
It doesn’t really matter how strong you are — what matters the most is whether or not you are at peak strength, and that your peak strength is continually rising. That you’re on top of your game!
Or another words, always stay at your peak, regardless of where you are.
And when you have already reached your peak, keep peaking further!
Phnom Penh is epic:
The road to greatness is marred with more pain, difficulty, uncertainty, and exhaustion. But these are the necessary ingredients towards greatness!!
The goal is to intelligently identify your greatest strengths, and focus on intelligently leveraging yourself to the maximum!
Technology is not just digits and computers, technology is a tool of leverage! Technology can also be technique!
If you desire growth, and to maximize your growth, you must nap and sleep more! My ideal is to sleep 12 hours a night like my son!
Not passive “recoveryâ€â€” the recovery state is an active one— perhaps even more active than when you’re being “activeâ€.
Even as you sleep or nap, you’re still moving the world!
Perhaps we should get rid of antiquated notions of print design from the past. And instead, start carte blanche with digital; digital design.
In order to get into a flow state, you need a certain level of danger.

For me, greater feelings of power, and overpower.
Greater physiological strength, greater stronger feelings of hope and optimism, and also physiological discharges of power (hypelifting).
Also, greater consumption of meat. I wish I could eat 5 pounds of meat in one sitting.
Then, my ultimate goal is greater physical strength, to indefinitely increase my one rep maxes for my lifts, and also, to indefinitely augment my muscles and demigod body.
In today’s world, a big key to success is standing out. How does one do this?
The first thought is adopt a color scheme, or a color, palette, which is unusual, and sticks out. For example, the vibrant blood Crimson red I adopt on this blog.
Another idea is go off script. Do things differently than the way others do it.
Third, act unexpectedly. Don’t follow formalities. In some ways, to act more “Asperger’s†is good.
I love traditional Japanese wabi-sabi design, hate their modern design.
For example, I have never seen or witnessed a Japanese car, that ages well. Also, when it comes to their technology, like their phones, and other devices, they age poorly.

FUTURE WORKFLOWS
It seems that the current creative workflow is too basic; too much focus on curating a single image, and uploading it to social media for likes, and the promise of new followers. What we must do instead is strive to innovate a new workflow; more self hosted, open source, focus on PDFs and files, and shareable links.
More things self hosted on your own server. Self hosted email newsletter services (sendy.co), self hosted websites and blogs, wordpress.org, and file sharing services.
