As time goes on, I like Apple less and less. Too much bloat.

Don’t complicate an already simple workflow with trying to optimize and make things “betterâ€, “more efficientâ€, or lighter. For example trying to force yourself to do everything on an iPad is not good. There are many things which are 1000x more efficient to just do on a laptop.
For me, I prefer to blog and also select my photos on my iPad, but do FTP/server stuff on my laptop, and also use laptop for file management and making slideshows, and uploading stuff to YouTube, podcast (Anchor), etc.
In other words, we are still dependent on owning BOTH an iPad and MacBook laptop.
Not a static city, but a dynamic one:

My hatred of slowness with technology. Also why I would never wait in line for food. Or why I hate waiting in line for gym equipment.
Also, why I would probably hate having a Tesla — having to wait for it to charge!
Towards an ideal of digital ownership.

Never let anyone, anything, any duties or responsibilities rob you of your zen focus:

Having the courage to IGNORE and intentionally be “irresponsible†is a good one.

PHNOM PENH (Cambodia) as my new favorite city in the world.
The best gym (Monkifit), a great mall (Aeon Mall), and a great all you can eat Shabu Shabu (and Sukiyaki) place (MO MO PARADISE) inside the AEON MALL (in Asia, all the best places to eat are in indoor malls, especially in Southeast Asia).
Also with the grocery stores, you can pretty much find any product!
This mall is epic.

The quality of the bar was insanely good! Matte black finish too!

DEADLIFTS ARE GREAT!!
A little more awkward, but found this ‘ChinaKettlebell‘ product quite good! Their bars.
Also found their ‘Multi Use Hex Bar‘ interesting.
I believe the product I used at the Monkifit gym here in Phnom Penh is this one.
How they make their products very interesting:

Phnom Penh is my paradise!

Don’t start with the concept, and then do something. Rather, just follow your own gut and your own personal taste, and let others figure out what to call it later.
This is why there are no good books on innovation or business; they just rehash old concepts. There is no book or guide that will show you a new concept, because it has not already yet been attempted, discovered, or created.
Also, this is why it is bad to Google stuff, because rather than just thinking about the concept yourself, you rely on the experience of others.
As for everything else, let someone else do it.
In other words, only do you things you’re extremely passionate about. This way, you will never run out of motivation. You are self driven.
Via hyping yourself up!
The ideal hybrid. Blends of both natural and synthetic materials to get the best materials of both worlds. Merino wool *and* nylon blend for maximal performance and strength. 100% natural isn’t best.
Towards an option minimal approach.
No jogging or “running†for fitness. Either walk or sprint.
For example, I really hate old hotels. Things I cannot see in a photo; a musky feel, mold, and settle depressing old paint, old furnishings.

To me, the art of choosing or picking your most important photos is key. But how does one do this?
First of all, I just follow my gut. If I see a photo and I pause, and I feel some sort of emotional or aesthetic response, I just pick it, which is the little heart favorite icon in Apple photos.

I prefer Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap perfect for a two day trip! Prefer the ‘Tomb Raider’ temple (ruins) over Angkor Wat:
First of all, I first went to Siem Reap nearly a decade ago, for the Angkor Photo Festival. Very good festival, and great organizers.
The first thought is that Siem Reap is waaaay more developed than what I recall in around 2010. For example, the Treeline Hotel is insanely epic.
However my overall critique:
A place that thrives on tourism is fragile.
Also–
Too much foreign intervention is bad.
In Siem Reap, I get the sense that there are too many degenerate expats.
I far prefer Phnom Penh — Phnom Penh being a ‘real’ city, with much economic development that is not dependent on tourism.
Especially when it comes to technology and algorithms.
When in doubt, just vlog it.
You are the model.

When it runs counter to your own code of ethics.
A fusion, centaur approach.
Discipline isn’t having the fortitude to do something consistently, it is having the strength to refrain from action. Via negativa is discipline.
For example the simplest way to be “rich†is knowing how to refrain yourself from foolishly spending money on superfluous things.
No way to prove what you prevented. For example, preventing a texting while driving death. Via Nassim Taleb Antifragile.
Much about health is also about prevention of diseases. You never know what types of food, drink or lifestyle is “unhealthy†until *after* you’ve gotten the disease or must do an emergency surgery for some gall bladder or liver trauma.
Also with investments, you cannot prove how you *prevented* someone from going bankrupt, you can only show the profits and gains.

Something that has changed when it comes to my son — I am not just defending myself, but I must protect my son.
The strength of your personal stubbornness, and how badly you care for something. More faith in oneself, and less ethos about placating to the tastes or desires of others.
Better to have others be afraid of you, or fearful of you than to be liked or loved.
Be less of a pacifist, be more interventionist.
Ribeye steak, a ton of beef. Massage. Good hotel (good bed and sheets) for good sleep, and clean and quiet.
Construction as deeply optimistic for the future!
