NOMADIC DURATION?
How long should you live in one place?
Assuming that you want to maximize growth and your personal innovation, I think a semi nomadic existence is best. I would recommend trying to spend at least two years in one spot, before moving on. If you have the option.

STRONG OR WEAK?
There is no in-between.
-
What does it mean to be a monk?
To shed away all superfluous things, in order to accelerate your personal advancement. Asceticism as training.

You Can Find Beauty in the Smallest Things
The skill and visual acuity of the photographer.
-
Perhaps you are productive in proportion to how *little* time you spend on your phone
If you want to become more productive, don’t get an iPhone Pro, and even best to not own a phone at all.

Even if you had all of the gold in the world, you cannot trade it for health.
Without health, all of the gold in the world is for naught.

DOES IT REQUIRE COURAGE OR NOT?
Danger is good. Leaving your house is dangerous! Staying home or playing video games— no danger.
No risk, no danger, no interest.
Perhaps the risk of personal injury is actually a good thing; it forces us to focus and not fuck around.
The riskier, the better.

The sociology of CrossFit
CrossFit is insanely fascinating to me.
-
Not culture, or cult, but sociology.
Study the sociology of things. Or become the sociologist.
Maybe sociology is actually the new superior, supreme, and best major. Especially for the future. Sociology is technology for culture, society and the mind.

Creative compositions in photography— don’t zoom or use other lenses. No crop.
Prime, non zoom lens as best. Don’t zoom in.

White *and* black is the color of modernity
Perhaps then the brand-new Lamborghini Countach in white makes sense.
Also, spaceX, Dragon, astronauts, as clad mostly in white, not black.

WHAT IS MINIMALISM?
Keeping what you love, getting rid of the superfluous.

Insanely heavy deadlifts— one rep maxes!

People are more interested in you when you are self-absorbed.
For example, whenever I’m vlogging, everyone finds it so fascinating.
-
“BODIFULNESSâ€
We got “mindfulnessâ€, why not “body-fulnessâ€?
-
NEW AESTHETICS
New color combinations, new concepts.
-
GOOD // BAD
To make things more good, you must also make them more bad! You cannot have the good without the bad.
-
CUTTING EDGE.
I love being on the cutting-edge and being cutting-edge!
-
THE FUTURE IS PHILOSOPHICAL.
Google can teach you how to do something, but not why do something.
-
Anti Distraction
I prefer the technology which might be “worse†and less streamlined and convenient, than the technology which is “betterâ€, but bedridden with distractions.
-
Get rid of foreign things.
Native things are better.
-
NOT THE THING, THE IDEA.
I don’t want the thing itself, I like the idea of the thing.
-

NEVER SEEK SATISFACTION.
This is the road to never stopping.
Always seek better, more.
Once you’re satisfied, you’re dead.
Perhaps Americans seeking “full satisfaction†is a dead end? Instead perhaps we Americans should seek to just keep accumulating stuff, without seeking satisfaction.

IPAD PRO AS ZEN DEVICE
I insanely love the rounded edges and corners both of the device and also the screen!
-
GREATER ACTIONS REQUIRE GREATER RECOVERY
For example, going insanely hard one day, and take insanely epic rest the next 6 days, rather than everyday “moderate†hardness.
-
BROADEN YOUR MIND AND HPRIZONS
The upside of traveling, living abroad, and being nomadic.
-
SOLO INNOVATION
You cannot innovate in a group, or by committee.
