  • Money is not the issue

my personal thought is that it is not money which is the issue; technically with credit, financing, whatever… The modern day America can “afford “anything. For example it looks like Apple is now the new modern day loan; any poor person in America can afford the newest iPhone pro, Monthly payments of $50 or whatever into perpetuity.

Even Tesla; I think you could lease a brand new Tesla model three for only $329 a month. Any and every single modern day American can afford that.

    Therefore, my suggestion and thought:

Realize and recognize that people are not as price sensitive as you might think… either, you just gotta make something so incredibly desirable, want to desire it… and people will bend heaven and earth in order to get it?

Therefore, focus on creating things value, things that people really really want.

For example, I’m now in the position that I could essentially afford anything. Now that I can afford everything, it really shows that honestly… there’s really nothing out there that I truly desire anymore, because it is all mediocre.

  • Reality is Cruel

OK this is a big thing; why is it that everyone wants and seeks justice, reparations, whatever… the defeated demand repayment from the victors?

    Might makes right

Let us think about this a very long time ago. Think about ancient Greece, the Spartans, etc. There were the victors, there were losers, there were the Greek, there were the barbarians.

In ancient Roman times, there were the Romans, and then there was everybody else.

    Inter warring

OK so this is some things that I find very very weird; certainly the Native Americans, who first inhabited North America or whatever, they were the original inhabitants of this land. Yet… Who was before them?

If you go back to Ice Age times, certainly somebody else was there before.

Or if you think about this even longer, even amongst Native American, Native American tribes; there was always a battle for power and more power power. The strong were always battling the strong, and the victor is were always seeking to become more and more dominant.

I think the cruel reality is that the strong wins, and truth be told, they don’t need to apologize about anything.

Can you imagine the ancient Spartans, being “sorry “, for dominating the helot population? Or the ancient Romans or Greeks feeling “bad“ (the Christian notion of feeling “bad” and guilt)– ?

America’s weird because on one hand we are a Christian nation. We were founded more or less by protestant Quakers, which is a protestant denomination in America. As a consequence, Christian morality is weird; on one hand we have the moral higher ground that we must conquer for the sake of evangelizing the good word of Jesus Christ to other barbaric people, at the same time… we do it with guilty feelings, letting “God do the rest”–.

For example, was it the medieval times, in which the Christian crusaders would just kill people at random, and unsure whether somebody was Christian or not Christian, to say that in the afterlife God would separate them?

    Christians are the bad guys?

Even in America, I think anyone who is very anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish or whatever, tend to be Christians.

It looks like we Christians have still not forgiven Jewish people for killing Jesus Christ.

    Why does this matter?

I think this matters for many reasons.

First, out of the whole globe the whole planet the whole world economy, certainly in terms of fiat currency, the US dollar reign supreme. And the only feeble reason why the American dollar has any backing is because of our military power and might and prowess.

  • Technology vs Biology

Currently the big war we see is between biology and technology.

On one hand, all of these tech utopist, strange folks think that technology can solve all the world’s problems. These are the people who once upon a time, were bullied in school, middle school and high school,

For example, a lot of examples:

We can understand hormones, modern day medicine, medication as technology. For example we have all these strange “anti-depressant” medication’s, like serotonin uptake inhibitors, etc. These are things that modify our brains synapseses, hormonal pathway uptake downticks whatever, and as a consequence try to put us in a position in which we are able to continue working, being “productive”, and to fit within this modern day capitalist architecture of life.

    Can you monetize biology?

My personal thought is technology is very very good when it could improve our biology.

For example, the technology of clothing is great because it keeps us warm when it is very very cold, even we could think of goretex, goretex jackets, umbrellas as technology; good things which allow us to be out and about when it is raining etc. Or a good pair of goretex boots, waterproof rain boots when it is raining.

Or another another great modern day technology innovation, ironically one which is very very “low tech“– my beloved Vibram five finger shoes, which allow me to operate in modern day life, with just enough separation from the streets and pavement, but still provide me the naturalistic barefoot living experience. The modern day “tech barbarism”.

Another great technology is obviously photography. Without modern day technology and if you, certainly our lies would be much worse.

    Improving your biology

My personal thought is the proper use of money, technology should be to improve your personal biology. For example, the technology of the modern day heater, to keep you nice and warm and cozy at home, when it is terribly cold and damp inside your house, which is positively bad for your biology.

Even in terms of home architecture, your habitation technology, I think the best innovation is a simple one; floor to ceiling windows.

In fact, I think that’s still confusing to me is in today’s modern Day world, currently in the year 2024, why are we still doing building houses out of wood? This seems insanely bizarre to me; can we just 3-D print houses out of glass?

    Where to invest your money

The very very simple optimization in life is put your money where your health is. That is, using your money to improve your health.

Buying a new iPhone, iPhone Pro, laptop or Apple device will not improve your health

I think this is a big thing; people are willing to dump all this money into the newest iPhone, iPhone Pro, but in fact it will not do anything substantial for your health.

  • LA LIVING

This is my hot take: LA can and be paradise, and is paradise, if you play your cards right.

    How?

I think this is the billion dollar question:

How does one live a happy and virtuous life in Los Angeles?

  • The second you’re full, stop eating!

    Downsides—

When you over eat it may cause indigestion and nausea at night,,, which leads to insanely poor sleep, and making you feel like shit the next morning!

Also worse, you might wake up and ruin the sleep of your partner!

  • Foggy Glass

Metaphor to life: some people are just living behind foggy glass their entire life and have never wiped it?

  • INVINCIBLE FLEX

    I am invincible!

  • Crypto is now mainstream

Just follow taxes; even now TurboTax, has a feature whether you sold stocks or crypto…

  • Hate is Free Marketing

Looks like in America, modern day society, modern day society… the name of the game of how to win is he or she who gets the most marketing shall win.

Note to Donald Trump, what… in the early election cycle he got what $1 trillion worth of free marketing and advertising from all of the political platforms and TV networks, who gave him free marketing? If you really really don’t want to get somebody elected, you just don’t name them. This is why I find it very very strange when all these liberals keep posting this anti-Donald Trump stuff, and keep retweeting what he said… You idiots… Just ignore it! For example, I don’t really even have an opinion about Donald Trump; this is the best way to approach things.

Also from a similar perspective, the more you are hated, this is a very very good sign. Why? You will get free marketing!

If anything, the only bad thing is to be ignored.

  • Apple is Anti America, Tesla is Pro America

Let us note that your beloved iPhone pros are produced by Foxconn in mainland China, whereas cyber truck is produced here?

    my lineage of Tesla:

Life before cyber truck, life after.

It’s straight up looks like something that came out of a video game!

I think why it is so innovative and such a big deal is that when you see cyber truck in real life, it looks like it is out of a video game? It is so polygon, so disruptive, you cannot ignore it.

Anyone who hates it, it doesn’t really even matter because you’re not gonna buy it anyways. This is why being a hater, or hitting things makes no sense, and also from a business perspective… You ignore people who hate it because they’re not gonna buy it, but also you love it because even when haters spew hate, they’re essentially giving you free marketing.

  • Bold Design

    Cybertruck or nothing.

Everything else… Why does it all look the same?

Love it or hate it, bitcoin and cyber truck is like the same thing; everyone has a strong opinion about it, whether you like it or not.

    Cccccccc—-combo breaker!

    I LOVE CYBERTRUCK!

Finally! At the age of 36, I have finally witnessed and seen a card that I absolutely love? That whenever I see it, it inspires and awes me?

I rate cyber truck at least 1 billion times more interesting, domineering, dominant, gangster than any Lamborghini, Porsche or Ferrari on the planet.

With cyber truck, it kills everything, everything else is dead.

Seeing cyber truck, it gives me more American pride, America, Elon Musk etc.… We truly have the best design on the planet. The best of the best.

  • Morphology, Not Race

Let us consider technically we are all part of the “human race“, and also, very much like the ancient Greeks and Romans… being Greek or being Roman was a race-nationality thing — either you were Roman or Greek, or, you were a barbarian.

In modern daytimes, I think the most productive way we should start thinking about things things is morphology; that is, the facial structure of your face, what you look like, the pigment or melanin in your skin, or the facial features you got.

For example, it is very very obvious that I am of East Asian, Korean, Asian descent. But besides the fact that genetically my parents are from South Korea, from Seoul and Busan, I was born and raised in California San Francisco, from 1988 onwards. I know how to read and write Korean, although not 100%, and certainly I was raised on general Asian Korean Confucian cultural norms, but for the most part, I was raised on Costco corndogs, the American optimism of the 90s, Bill Clinton etc.

So now, currently at the age of 36, I look Asian but I’m not Asian. I’m pure blood American, 100%, Boy Scouts Eagle Scout.

Indians, south Asians are the new “white” people — Aryan race

Very interesting trend that I see in Silicon Valley, the bay area and beyond; all of these very very successful rich and influential south Asian, people from Indian or Pakistani descent are essentially the new “white” people. Behold high prestige positions in academia, culturally socially politically, and also technologically.

as a consequence, you see a lot of Asian Asian American women, even Caucasian women marrying these successful men, once again, more followed you wise they look Indian and south Asians; but in fact in terms of their race prestige and their social class, they are “white”.

if you think and consider about it, technically India was a first place that even had this notion of the “Aryan” race— not Nazi germany or Hitler. I think it’ll Hitler even got the idea from ancient Indian philosophy and manuscripts, and also interestingly enough… He also likened and talked about the Spartans and how they controlled the helot race.

How is it that 5000 Spartans can control a helot population of 10 million?

  • Facebook Initial IPO Stock Price and Now

    Now $527– per share META.

I remember when Facebook first filed for the IPO, 2012, about a year after I graduate college. I told everyone I knew, my best friends to invest in it, now, almost 12 years later, it has increased by over a factor of 10x?

Similarly speaking, very very easily, I can imagine 12 years from now, the price of bitcoin is going to go at least 10X from here. Probably more.

Facebook’s initial public offering (IPO) price was set at $38 per share when it went public on May 18, 2012. The first day of trading was quite eventful, with the stock price reaching as high as $45 but closing only slightly above the IPO price at $38.23 due to technical glitches and underwriter support to keep the stock from falling below the IPO price oai_citation:2,Initial public offering of Facebook – Wikipedia. As for the current stock price of Meta Platforms, Inc. • The Philosophy of Capital

OK, whether you like or not, we are all implicated in capital, capitalism. If you have ever used a credit card before, have VISA, an iPhone, a MacBook, MacBook Pro, iPad, ever bought anything on Amazon or Amazon Amazon prime, have a Netflix or Spotify subscription, ever watched YouTube in your life or made a Google search etc.

There is this weird trend that somehow everyone who is implicated in it, is anti-it. I think the intelligent and wise path is extracting the maximum upsides of capitalism and capital, while clipping the downsides, or clipping the parts of capital capitalism which is toxic.

  • Keep it Simple

The word “simple” has its roots in the Latin term “simplex,” which combines “sim-” (meaning “one”) and “plex” (meaning “fold” or “weave”). Originally, “simplex” described something made in a single, uncomplicated manner or something not mixed with other substances. Over time, “simple” evolved in English to broadly mean something easy to understand or do, not complex or complicated, or consisting of only one element or part. This evolution of meaning reflects the word’s intrinsic sense of singularity and lack of complexity, embodying the idea of purity or straightforwardness in its most basic form.

  • Affluence for the sake of what?

    True affluence is physical, bodily?

In ancient Latin, the term “affluentia” was used more broadly than its modern English descendant “affluence.” The Latin “affluentia” referred not just to material wealth or abundance, but to a flow or influx of anything, not limited to physical resources. It could describe an abundance of non-material things as well, such as virtues, health, or even people. The concept was closely tied to the idea of things flowing towards a place or person, much like a river flows and brings with it nutrients that enrich the land. The Romans, with their highly developed social structures and philosophical systems, often used the term in contexts that emphasized the natural or moral order of things. Wealth and resources were seen not just in terms of material accumulation but also in relation to the well-being of the community and the individual’s role within it. Thus, “affluentia” in ancient Rome could encompass a wide range of abundances, from the tangible and material to the abstract and moral. The emphasis on flow and abundance also reflects the Roman appreciation for the balance between excess and deficiency, a concept important in their philosophy, ethics, and understanding of the cosmos. The idea that something could flow towards a person or a place, enriching it without overwhelming it, would have resonated with Roman ideals of moderation and the harmonious distribution of resources within society.

The word “affluence” comes from the Latin word “affluentia,” which itself is derived from “affluere.” “Affluere” means “to flow to” and is a compound of “ad-” (to) and “fluere” (to flow). The meaning of “affluence” as we understand it today—relating to wealth, abundance, and a flowing supply of material goods—evolved over time, echoing the idea of prosperity as something that flows towards a person or community. This etymology highlights a metaphorical connection between the natural flow of water and the accumulation of wealth, suggesting a state where resources come to someone in abundance and without interruption.
