So recently we’ve been going to an Amazon fresh grocery store, about a 15 minute drive away, which I guess is around 30 minutes round trip.
However still some issues—
- Even if you do curbside pick up, which is generally quite convenient, you still gotta drive there, and you still got to tap a bunch of things on your phone, click a bunch of stuff, be distracted, and then wait for the person to come to your car, which sometimes is very fast, but sometimes… I had to wait almost 30 minutes?
- Then the logic is paying for Amazon prime food grocery delivery totally makes sense! I think it only cost an additional $10 a month, insanely good deal—.
- To save 15 minutes there, 15 minutes back, to save 30 minutes in a day… is a good idea. Especially when you’re driving in LA the issue is that 30 minutes is still quite mentally and physiologically attacking; a lot of crazy drivers on the road, having to merge in and out of La Cienega is a nightmare.
- Therefore I think one of the prime things to consider is not just the whole saving time thing, but saving physiological energy, mind space, driving in LA is exhausting. This issue with driving is all the physiological mental energy to switch lanes, always be on high alert for crazy drivers, etc.
- Then once again, the moral of the story is minimum driving possible!
