“Socialization” is bad

I get very very suspicious whenever I hear that some sort of activity is good for kids, because it is “good for their socialization.”

For me, much of my adult life post college was all about de-socialization, unlearning all the BS from society. This was the biggest benefit of studying sociology, unlearning.

Therefore for me, perhaps my approach is different; I don’t want to socialize Seneca. I want him to become some sort of rare plant. The uber-kid. Eventually the uberman.
